Who We Are / Kimo Cole
Kimo is a personal trainer at EM. Kimo is a Northwest Native, raised in Shoreline, WA attending local schools and graduating from Shorewood High School. Yep folks he is definitely home grown. Kimo graduated from Rocky Mountain College in Montana with a Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Anthropology and Minored in Exercise Science with an emphasis on coaching. Kimo was a varsity member of the alpine ski team and traveled to several national level events. Kimo says, "I have been married to my fantastic wife April for 13 years and have two sons, Keala (8yrs) and Levi (3yrs) who keep me very busy. I have been a personal trainer for seven years now and enjoy every minute of it! I particularly enjoy and am fascinated with exercise physiology and human bio-mechanics, our system is so incredible! I enjoy meeting new clients and trying to figure out their motivational queues and how their body is working and how we can improve function. As a family we enjoy getting outdoors and camping, hiking, pools, soccer, riding bikes, skateboarding at various parks and especially snowboarding and skiing. My wife was a ski racer and on the US development team for Super-G and Downhill, we have been teaching Keala to ski and snowboard since he was two, and this year we are going to introduce Levi to skiing and then to boarding if he wants to. I was lucky enough to compete in two helicopter access only snowboard competitions in Valdez, Alaska, the second annual World Extreme Championships and the first annual King of the Hill Snowboard Tournament. Alaska is amazing for skiing and snowboarding and I highly recommend it to everyone! My wife and I cannot wait to take our sons up in a helicopter and hit the amazing powder. I would enjoy the opportunity to help you reach your athletic and fitness goals, please feel free to call in and schedule an appointment with me. I look forward to meeting you in the future. " |
